In 2009, Cary Visual Art invited Helen Marshall, British artist as part of their 'Public Art in Focus Lecture Series' to consult with the local community. Marshall developed a proposal for an inaugural public art project, the first of it's kind here, that would challenge and stimulate the community as well as involve them in its creation.
The proposal that Marshall received support and she returned in 2011, inviting Italian artist, Alessandra Ferrini, to take part in the project, you can read more about the project and artists here.
